Help at the pump – Financial help of 15 cents per liter of fuel for self-employed health professionals

Health insurance increases the travel allowance and mileage allowance of contracted liberal health professionals who go to the homes of their patients. This exceptional aid equivalent to 15 euro cents per liter of fuel will be applied until July 31, 2022.

Faced with the increase in the cost of fuel and to support health professionals who travel to the homes of their patients, the Health Insurance is putting in place exceptional aid equivalent to 15 euro cents per liter of fuel.

From April 25, 2022 to July 31, 2022 (date of the end of the discount at the pump of the same amount for all drivers), this aid will take the form of an increase of 1 cent d euro in the price of the different kilometers. allowances (IK, IKP, IKM, etc.), supplemented by a revaluation of 4 euro cents of the unit rate of the various flat-rate travel allowances.

The health professionals concerned are general practitioners, medical specialists, dental surgeons, midwives, nurses, massage therapists-physiotherapists, podiatrists-podiatrists, speech therapists and orthoptists. They must enter the new rates when invoicing or make sure their software integrates these new rates.

This exceptional aid can be combined with the discount of 15 euro cents on fuel granted to all drivers, health professionals will therefore be able to benefit from aid of at least €0.30 per liter, states the Health Insurance .
