Monoprix offers you to borrow items when you need them

This is a first for the supermarket giant: Monoprix creates a loan service for items of all kinds. Called “Mi chjamu reviens”, this unique system is currently being tested in two stores in France. If you are interested, go to the Monop’ in rue de Marseille, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, and the Monoprix in Marcq-en-Barœul in the north of the country.

The principle is simple: if you need a specific object, Monoprix offers to come and borrow it for free in one of these two stores. This way, you no longer need to pay for an item that stays in your closet all year! Economical and ecological (it allows you to consume less), “Je m’appelle reviens” offers many items to borrow: drill, raclette, bicycle, barbecue… In all, about fifteen products are currently available.

Book, it’s borrowed!

To take advantage of the service, it is simple and fast. Go to the reception of the store and ask for the desired object. It remains to be seen if it will be available when you need it. To confirm your loan, Monoprix will ask you for a photocopy of your identity document and the loan of your bank card as a deposit. The service is completely free and you leave with the object in question for 48 hours!

“We launched this program to meet the specific needs of our customers. It is more ecological and of course much more economical”explains Maguelone Paré, director of transformation and innovation at Monoprix, in the columns of u Parisian.

Are you going to be a Monoprix customer?

To take advantage of the service, you must actually be a customer of the brand. However, during this trial phase, the store card is not requested. In a few months, it should also be possible to reserve the object or accessory of your choice via the Monoprix application. Faster, easier, and the way to know the availability.
