The consolidated net banking income of the “Crédit Agricole au Maroc” group was 2.13 billion dirhams at the end of June 2022, against 2.18 billion dirhams a year earlier.
The banking group said in a statement that this development is mainly due to the increase in the interest margin and the commission margin of 11 and 7.6%, respectively, emphasizing that this performance made it possible to offset the results of decline in market activity. because of the impact of the rise in the yield curve.
The same source pointed out that the social banking net income was 2.04 billion dirhams, slightly increasing by 0.2% compared to the previous year, due to the good interest yield and margins of commissions that registered a growth of 12 and 9%, respectively, noting that this performance made it possible to compensate for the decrease in the results of the market activity.
At the end of June 2022, the group collected outstanding loans distributed to 107 billion dirhams, against 98 billion dirhams at the end of June 2021, an increase of 9%. According to the press release, this growth is mainly attributed to the financing of the agricultural and agri-food sectors, in addition to the imports of cereals by the operators of the sector, within the framework of the 10 billion dirham program decided by His Majesty King Mohammed VI. , intended to combat the effects of drought.
The current savings mobilized by the group amounted to 100 billion dirhams, up 3.5% compared to the end of June 2021.
